Winona Lake Post Office Phone Not Working Properly

WINONA LAKE – The telephone at the Winona Lake Post Office is not working properly. It was upgraded to a VOIP service two weeks ago, and now if anyone calls the office from a wired telephone it won’t come through to the Post Office, according to Postmaster Dan King. It will ring in the caller’s phone, but it doesn’t ring at the Post Office. King said they’ve had two one-hour telecoms to try to fix the problem, but it still persists. “I don’t want our faithful customers to think we’ve changed for the worse. The connection just isn’t going all the way through. If a customer needs to contact us they can use cell phones (as those seem to work just fine), or just stop by and we’ll help them all we can,” King said. King will let the public know when the problem is remedied.
