NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PUBLIC-PRIVATE AGREEMENT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION, FINANCING, OPERATION AND ACQUISITION OF ICE RINK AND MULTI-PURPOSE PAVILION
Winona Lake, Indiana property owners, taxpayers, and other interested parties are hereby notified that the Winona Lake Town Council intends to hold a public hearing at a Special Town Council Meeting on February 23, 2021 at 6:00 PM online via Zoom (https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88382856616 or 1-646-876-9923 Meeting ID: 883 8285 6616) and in person at the Town Hall, 1310 Park Avenue, Winona Lake, Indiana 46590.
The Winona Lake Redevelopment Commission has formally recommended WL Ice, LLC be awarded a Public-Private Agreement as the developer for the construction, operation, and transfer of an ice rink and multipurpose pavilion under the Build, Operate, and Transfer Statute Indiana Code 5-23 et al. In accordance with Indiana Code 5-23-5-9, a public hearing must be held prior to any adoption by the Town Council.
At the public hearing, all interested parties may appear and be heard. The details of the proposal can be viewed online at www.winonalake.net or examined by appointment at the Town Hall. Any written comments will be received by the Town Manager, Craig Allebach, P.O. Box 338 Winona Lake, IN 46590 (townmanager@winonalake.net) up to the date and time of the Public Hearing. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity of the Town of Winona Lake should contact the office of Craig Allebach at the Town Hall or via phone at 574-267-7581 as soon as possible but no later than 48 hours before the scheduled event.
