Wind Blows Fire From Barrel To Two-Story Leesburg Shed

Wind Blows Fire From Barrel To Two-Story Leesburg ShedLEESBURG – A two-story shed caught on fire Sunday afternoon after wind gusts carried flames from a nearby burning barrel.
Leesburg Fire Department responded at 4:20 p.m. Sunday to 790 Chapman Lake Drive, Leesburg, to a report of the shed on fire.
According to county property records, the shed is owned by Fred and Connie Jetter.
Total damage to the shed was less than $10,000, Leesburg Assistant Fire Chief Brian Marshall said. Marshall also said some of the house’s siding melted but there were no injuries.
North Webster Fire Department assisted at the scene with a water tanker.
