Housing Opportunities of Warsaw Inc. has extended the drawing date for the Win A House raffle until Dec. 19. The raffle drawing will be held at Mutual Bank, West Market Street, at 4 p.m. with Max Courtney, Mutual Bank, and Bob Sanders, Bodkin Abstract, present.
The grand prize is a home at 94 Sassafrass Court, Warsaw, and will be open for tours Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Proceeds from the raffle will be used as matching funds to bring federal money into Kosciusko County to repair and roof homes throughout the county. Housing Opportunities has received more than 200 requests for help with roofs, furnaces, septic and other systems essential to live safely in a home.
