NAPPANEE – Wilma E. Yoder, 76, of 8314 W. CR 1050N, Nappanee, died unexpectedly from natural causes at 10:10 p.m. Aug. 8, 2012, in South Bend Memorial Hospital.
She was born March 15, 1936, in Marshall County, to Emery E. and Fannie Chupp Miller. On Oct. 24, 1957, she married Ivan J. Yoder, who died Oct. 19, 2004.
She was a member of Old Order Amish Church and was a homemaker.
Surviving are sons, Glenn R. (and spouse Ruby) Yoder, Steven J. (and spouse Kathleen) Yoder and Carl D. (and spouse Ruby) Yoder, all of Etna Green, and Dennis E. (and spouse Ruth Ann) Yoder, Goshen; daughters, Carolyn (and spouse Earl L.) Miller, Nappanee, and Brenda (and spouse Doug) Sparks, New Paris; 20 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Edward (and spouse Edna) Miller and Marvin (and spouse Lizzie) Miller, all of Nappanee, and Herman (and spouse Ada) Miller and Earl (and spouse Edna) Miller, all of Bourbon; and sisters, Laura (and spouse John) Slabaugh, Etna Green; Lydia (and spouse Eldon) Stutzman, Warsaw; and Alma Miller, Nappanee. She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at Lavern Yoder’s residence, 10561 N. Ind. 19, Nappanee, with The Home Ministry of the church officiating. Burial will be in Graber Cemetery.
Calling is after noon today and all day Saturday at the family residence.
