SYRACUSE - Wilma E. Mock, 80, of Ligonier, and formerly of Pierceton, died at 9:43 a.m. Nov. 12, 2008, in Avalon Village Nursing Home.
She was born Dec. 7, 1927, in Noble County, to Hobart and Celia Knapp Weade. On Oct. 28, 1945, she married Warren D. Mock, who died in 2004.
A lifetime area resident, she formerly worked at Essex Wire and Monsanto, Ligonier. She formerly attended North Webster Church of God and was a former member of TOPS, Ligonier.
Surviving are three daughters: Linda (and spouse Harold) Smith, Pierceton; Cheryl Mock, Syracuse; and Sheila (and spouse Jesse) Taylor, Elkhart; two sons, Tim (and spouse Diane) Mock, Pierceton, and Dennis (and spouse Laurie) Mock, Warsaw; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a brother, Woodward Weade, Kimmell. She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
Services will be at noon Saturday at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, Syracuse, with the Rev. David W. Heim officiating. Burial will be in North Webster Cemetery, Mock Addition.
Calling is two hours prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.
