Wilma A. Johnson, 99, formerly of Warsaw, passed away Oct. 22, 2015, in Sarasota, Fla., where she resided.
She was born Jan. 8, 1916, in Etna Green, to Edwin and Iva Gay. She married Lofton, who passed away in 1975.
She was employed for several years at Miller’s Merry Manor and was a member of Dutchtown Brethren Church, both in Warsaw.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Ellen Swope, Sarasota, Fla., and Doris Yoder, Warsaw; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Donnis Miller, who died in 2000; and her five siblings, Lester, Victor, Bernice, Mildred and Mabel.
A graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with Pastor Jack Worth officiating.
Calling is from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw.
Farley Funeral Home, Venice, Fla., and Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
