Willodean 'Kit' Langohr

COLUMBIA CITY – Willodean “Kit” Langohr, 87, Pierceton, passed away at 6:28 p.m. April 17, 2015, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 3, 1927, in Kosciusko County, to Darrell F. and Ruthie M. Madison Menzie. On June 3, 1944, in Columbia City, she married Billy E. Langohr, who preceded her in death.
She graduated from Warsaw High School with the Class of 1945. In 1956, she and Billy moved from Columbia City to Pierceton. Besides taking care of her family and doing general farming, she was a dental assistant for Dr. Robert Langohr and a past co-owner of Builders Supply in Columbia City. She was a member of Morris Chapel United Methodist Church and a proud 4-H leader.
Survivors include her four children: Craig (and spouse Susan) Langohr, Columbia City; Scott (and spouse Betty) and Jeff (and spouse Vickie) Langohr and Holly (and spouse Raymond) White, all of Pierceton; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by her parents and great-granddaughter, Kaylee Siefert.
At her request, there will be no visitation or service.
Arrangements were entrusted to DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, Columbia City.
