VAN WERT, Ohio - Willodean Hoghe, 90, of Van Wert, Ohio, died at 10:40 a.m. Sept. 30, 2007, in Vancrest Health Care Center, Van Wert.
She was born Nov. 18, 1916, in Warsaw, to Clarence A. and Dora E. Metzger Helvey. On May 23, 1937, in North Manchester, she married Harold H. Hoghe, who died in 1988.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church and Chautauqua Club, both in Van Wert. She graduated from International Business College, Fort Wayne, where she worked until she was married and became a homemaker.
Surviving are a daughter, Jacqueline Seplak, Van Wert; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert, with the Rev. Paul Miller officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert.
Calling is from 2 to 4:30 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
