Willodean "Carol" Young, 65, of 10526 S. Bouse Drive, Silver Lake, died at 2 a.m. Oct. 2, 2009, in her residence.
She was born April 27, 1944, in Fort Wayne, to Harris John and Sarah Ellen Gibson Rogers. On Nov. 20, 1965, she married William James Young Sr., who survives.
She lived in Kosciusko County for the past 15 years and was a homemaker.
Also surviving are a son, William Young Jr., Goshen; two daughters, Lynnette Reith, Fort Wayne, and Jill (and spouse Jeff) Webber, Warsaw; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard (and spouse Sue) Rogers, Columbus, Ohio; and three sisters, Minnie Loshe and Arlene (and spouse Ray) LaFever, all of Fort Wayne, and Lou Wideman, Elwood. She was preceded in death by a brother.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor Russell Simpson officiating. Burial will be in Christian Union Cemetery, Garrett.
