William Wells

William Wells, 32, of Claypool, passed away at 9:22 a.m. Sept. 7, 2011, in Leesburg.

He was born Jan. 10, 1979, in Warsaw, to William and Beth Sims Wells, who survive in Warsaw.

A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, he was a machinist at CTB Inc., Milford. He served as a coach for the Pierceton Little League, Warsaw PeeWee Football and Whitko Intermural Wrestling. His hobbies included collecting and restoring cars and motorcycles, hunting, fishing, camping, fitness training, collecting baseball cards and tattoos and his July 4th parties and fireworks. In addition, he was a music lover and enjoyed spending time with his boys, his family and his friends.

Also surviving are his sons, Korbin Foster and William and Andre Wells, all of Claypool; a brother,  Leonard Wells, Anderson University and Warsaw; maternal grandparents, Loran and Linda Sims and Hubert and Saundra Kennedy, all of Warsaw; maternal great-grandmother, Irene Miller, Warsaw; paternal great-grandmother, Martha Melton, Hope, Ark; a niece, Adasia Wells, Warsaw; and his companion, Erica Bell, Claypool.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastors Roy Blake and Carl Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Calling is from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
