William O. Brown, 83, of Warsaw, died at 12:52 a.m. Jan. 24, 2012, in Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw.
He was born Feb. 18, 1928, in Bloomington, Ill., to John P. and Leona Abbott Brown.
He lived in Warsaw for more than 57 years. A World War II U.S. Navy veteran, AN William O. Brown was honorably discharged. He was a production worker for Kimball Glass for 27 years, retiring in 1992. He enjoyed reading and cared about his grandchildren.
Surviving are two sons, Michael (and spouse Deborah) Brown, Winona Lake, and Steven (and spouse Karen) Brown, Ballwin, Mo.; and three grandchildren, Jon, Elizabeth and Katie. He was preceded in death by a brother, Frances Brown, and a sister, Patricia Brown.
Services will be at noon Thursday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, officiated by the Rev. Terry Bradford of First Freewill Baptist Church of Kosciusko County, Claypool. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at the funeral home.
Military honors will be by members of Warsaw’s American Legion Post 49 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1126.
