GLADWIN, Mich. – William Martindale Sr., 75, of Gladwin, Mich., died March 29, 2013, in a hospital in Michigan. He was born March 20, 1938. His wife, Mable Martindale, survives in Michigan. He was a 1957 Nappanee High School graduate where he was raised with his family. He later married and settled in North Webster for several years. Eventually he moved to and lived in Florida for 13 years, then moved to Michigan and spent his remaining years there. He spent several years in the mobile home business for Regency, Commodore and Skyline. He had come back to Indiana several times over the years to visit family and friends. Surviving are a son, William Martindale Jr., Florida; a daughter, Shelly Martindale-McDonald, North Webster; a stepdaughter; a stepson; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Larry Martindale, Syracuse. He was preceded in death by a sister and a brother. Services will be at 10 a.m. April 20 at Leesburg Cemetery. ***** Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
