NORTH MANCHESTER – William M. Gillespie, 97, of Akron, and formerly of Silver Lake, died at 9:30 a.m. Sept. 10, 2013, at his residence. He was born on Jan. 16, 1916, in Van Wert, Ohio, to Joshua M. and Mary May Sherburn Gillespie. On Nov. 20, 1938, he married Selena L. Rhodes, who preceded him in death on Sept. 14, 2001. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Pastor Ed French officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Lake.
