William Lee ‘Bill’ Kruger

NORTH WEBSTER — William Lee “Bill” Kruger, 82, North Webster, passed away at 11:24 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29, 2017, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Columbia City.

He was born April 23, 1935, in Pierceton, to Charles Alton and Margaret Marie Burns Kruger.

He was a lifetime North Webster area resident and attended North Webster High School. He was formerly employed at Forest River in Goshen, Sea Nymph in Syracuse, Commodore Homes in Syracuse and United Telephone, and drove truck for Kruger Truck Lines.

He was a member of Sons of the American Legion Post 253, North Webster.

He is survived by two daughters, Debra (Harvey) Hall, North Webster, and Sandra (Mark) Mignery, Cromwell; two sons, Charles “Chuck” Kruger, Syracuse, and William Kenneth “Ken” Kruger, North Webster; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Joseph Alton “Joe” (Sue) Kruger, Warsaw, and Thomas Mitchell “Tom” (Alice) Kruger, North Webster; and his companion, Neva Sexton, North Webster.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, at Owen Family Funeral Home, Ind. 13 and C.R. 500N, North Webster. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home, with Pastor Bob Winsted of West Etna Community Church, Larwill, officiating.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, Warsaw. Private burial will take place in the Mock Addition of North Webster Cemetery.
