BOURBON - William Kenneth Luty, 98, of 5888 14th Road, Bourbon, died at 6:40 a.m. Aug. 20, 2007, in Miller's Merry Manor, Plymouth.

He was born Sept. 12, 1908, in Bourbon, to John W. and Minnie Cavanaugh Luty. On Sept. 12, 1929, he married Mae Iola Renas, who died Oct. 28, 1985. On Dec. 29, 1987, he married Elizabeth Craige, who died May 30, 2003.

He was a 1926 Bourbon High School graduate and a retired farmer. He was past treasurer of Bethel Cemetery, a member of Bethel Church and later a member of Bourbon First United Methodist Church.

Surviving are two children, Sue Sell, Plymouth, and Bob Luty, Mishawaka; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by two brothers.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, Bourbon. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.

Calling is from 11 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
