William K. 'Bill' Hanselman

BOURBON – William K. “Bill” Hanselman, 66, Bourbon, passed away Oct. 10, 2015.
He was born June 28, 1949, in LaPorte, to William A. and Clara D. Ross Hanselman. On Aug 18, 2003, he married Marilyn L. Ellinger, who survives.
He was a 1969 graduate of Oregon Davis High School, Grovertown. He enjoyed working at a family business: The Buck Rub. After retiring, he spent time with his family – most of all, his grandchildren – watching the Indianapolis Colts, doing outdoor crafts, and playing catch with his dogs, Lilly and Bella.
Also surviving are his father and stepmother, William A. and Cathy L. Tibbs Hanselman; mother-in-law, Erma L. Ellinger; one brother, Albert E. Hanselman Yvette; one sister, Iona P. Chaney Dan; five daughters: Sgt. Joyce D. Hanselman (and Cindy Endsley), Renee D. Greene (and MSgt. Derek Greene), Billie S. Siegfred (and Robert), Chassity L. Dillon (and Dr. Todd Dillon) and Crystal D. Kleespie (and Isaac); 12 grandchildren, “Bill’s Pals”: Chenee (and Caleb Adams), Alex, FC3 Jesse W. Hanselman, Joseph, Huntley (and Kylee Davis), Isaac, Bahley, Ashley, Jayden, Kennedy, Darienne and Thomas; two great-grandchildren, Brayson and Rylee; and several other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Clara D. Hanselman, and four brothers: Werddie, David, Douglas and Jake.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, Bourbon, with the Rev. Chris Stull officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Bourbon.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
