William G. "Dick" Kendrick, 72, of Silver Lake, died at 1:15 p.m. June 9, 2008, in Parkview Memorial Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He was born March 16, 1936, in Middletown, Ohio, to Jeff and Golden Rice Kendrick. On June 18, 1970, in Prestonsburg, Ky., he married Martha Clark, who survives.
Moving to Silver Lake from Middletown 38 years ago, he was a pipefitter for Pipefitter Associates, retiring in 2005, after 10 years of service.
Also surviving are a son, Kenneth (and spouse Janice) Kendrick, Seven Mile, Ohio; a daughter, Joy (and spouse Mike) Bolin, Middletown; a half sister, Velma Kendrick, Middletown; four grandsons; two great-granddaughters; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Larry and Debby Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters and four brothers.
Burial will be at a later date.
Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
