William Felkner Wagner passed away recently in Los Angeles. He was born in 1920, in Warsaw, to Dr. Charles R. and Marjorie Felkner Wagner. His wife of 68 years, Vicky Wagner, died in January 2010. He lived in Warsaw until 1955 when he and his family moved to Los Angeles, where he managed the vocal group The Four Freshmen, also from Indiana. His long music industry career included producing records and managing the careers of many notable artists. He served as a World War II Army Air Corp bomber pilot before completing his military career at the Pentagon. His grandfather, William Felkner, was the initial investor in Zimmer Corp. His mother was a noted poetess. Surviving are two daughters, Bobbie Putnam and Kriss Wagner; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Sherman Oaks (Calif.) Presbyterian Church. A military funeral is planned at Arlington National Cemetery later this year where both Mr. and Mrs. Wagner will be inurned.
