WABASH - William E. Mabee, 66, of Wabash, died at 2:21 p.m. Aug. 4, 2009, in Marion Veteran's Hospital.
He was born Dec, 11, 1942, in Wabash, to William E. and Mary Brown Mabee. He was formerly married to Tina Sult, who survives in Warsaw.
He was a mechanic and worked for Kirtlan Automotive and Pries. He was a U.S. Army veteran; a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Wabash; and a former member of Knights of Columbus, Wabash. He was a 1960 Wabash High School graduate.
Also surviving are a son, William J. (and spouse Rachelle) Mabee, Winona Lake; a daughter, Tammy (and spouse Don) King, Wabash; an aunt, Barbara Reed, Peru; two stepbrothers, Darrell (and spouse Debbie) Benson and Mike (and spouse Deloris) Benson, all of Wabash; and a stepsister, Sharyle (and spouse Bill) Hapner, Wabash; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 207 N. Cass St., Wabash, with Father Sextus Don officiating. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery, Wabash.
Calling is from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Ave., Wabash, with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m.
