William “Bill” Anthony Priser, Warsaw, passed away at 2:42 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, 2018, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, at the age of 73.
He was born March 23, 1945, in Warsaw, to Ralph G. Priser and Mary Margaret Fairbanks Priser.
He was a 1963 graduate of Claypool High School. Bill was inducted into the U.S. Army on Nov. 8, 1967, and served in Vietnam until his honorable discharge on Nov. 7, 1969. He worked at R.R. Donnelley and Sons Co. in Warsaw and CSX, as well as working construction on the side.
Bill was a member of American Legion Post 49 of Warsaw.
He will be missed by his family and friends.
He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Londa (John) Priser Lewis, Mentone; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his two brothers, James (Michele) Priser, Claypool, and Lawrence Priser, Clunette; and his sister, Mary Mason, Syracuse.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister-in-law Marjorie Priser and brother-in-law Jack Mason.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
His funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, officiated by Chaplain Roy Blake.
Burial will follow with a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, in the John C. Peterson Post 49 American Legion Circle. Military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post 49 and VFW Post 1126, both of Warsaw, and active members of the Army Honor Guard.
