SYRACUSE - William A. "Bill" Barth, 46, of Syracuse, died at 10:05 a.m. Aug. 20, 2008, at Memorial Hospital of South Bend.
He was born June 25, 1962, in Elkhart, to William G. and Bethel L. Howard Barth. He married Donna K. Tingley, who survives in Syracuse.
He was a lifetime area resident and attended Wawasee High School, Syracuse. He was employed at Turtle Top in New Paris as an electrician for two years. He formerly worked at Barth Manufacturing in Milford for 10 years and Gulf Stream in Nappanee for 15 years.
Also surviving are a daughter, Kaylee Anne Barth, Syracuse; a son, William A. "Bill" Barth Jr., Fort Wayne; his mother, Bethel Barth, Milford; and five sisters: Nancy (and spouse Tom) Levernier, Barb Barth, Cathy (and spouse Larry) Vanlaningham, and Laurie (and spouse Dave) Hartsough, all of Milford; and Kelly (and spouse Stan) Hutchinson, Millersburg. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse, with Pastor Mike Overpeck officiating. Burial will be in Milford Cemetery.
Calling is from 2 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
