SYRACUSE – Willean “Billie” Beard, 79, died at 3 p.m. July 20, 2012, after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease.
She was born Jan. 4, 1933, in Smithville, Tenn., to James and Mary Fuson. She married John Beard, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are three sons: Steve, Jack and Jim McKinley; a sister, Ruby Buckles; two brothers, James and Dean Fuson; 17 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a son.
Services will be private. Burial will be in Muncie.
