Rex and Debra Wilkinson, South Whitley, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lisa Christine Wilkinson, to Jonathan Allen Engle. He is the son of Kathi Engle, Churubusco, and Rod Engle, Chicago.
The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Whitko High School and is a senior at Ball State University. She is currently doing her student teaching at Metro North Elementary, Wabash.
The groom-elect is a 2002 graduate of Churubusco High School and a 2006 graduate of Ball State University. He is employed as a conservation officer for the state of Indiana and is stationed in Wabash.
The couple plan an Oct. 13 wedding at South Whitley United Methodist Church.
