John R. and Donna J. Wiles will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 4, 2009. John and the former Donna Fawley were married Oct. 4, 1959, at First Christian Church, Flora, by the Rev. Ralph Leon Sell.
He was a meat cutter at Jet White, A&P and Owen's and retired from Kroger. She worked at United Optical and retired from Warsaw Plating Works.
The couple has two children, Tamara (and spouse Edward) Boggs, Warsaw, and Cheryl (and spouse Mike) Lennon, Fort Wayne; and five grandsons.
An open house will be Oct. 3 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Community Bible Church. In November, the couple have a Panama Canel cruise planned, starting with a stop in California.
