Dr. Steven S. Wildman recently received the Award of Honor from the Journal of Media Economics at the World Media Economics and Management Conference in Bogata, Columbia.
He received the honor "for his numerous scholarly contributions and inspiration to the field of media economics," according to information provided.
Wildman, the son of Rex and Lorabel Wildman, Warsaw, is a former graduate of Warsaw Community High School.
He received his undergraduate degree from Wabash College; his master's and doctorate degrees from Standford University; and taught at UCLA and Northwestern University.He is a U.S. scholar, academician and researcher who currently teaches and researches at one of the U.S. communications programs at Department of Telecommunication, Information Studies and Media at Michigan State University, East Lansing, Mich. Wildman also serves as co-director of the university's Quello Center for Telecommunication Management and Law.
