Shanna Zolman is all smiles as Wawasee High School retires the senior's No. 24 jersey at a ceremony during halftime of the boys baskeball game between Tippecanoe Valley and Wawasee Friday night in Syracuse. Zolman, who was named to the Phoenix/WBCA High School All-American Game presented by Nike, is the leading girls' scorer in Indiana and sits at No. 2 on the all-time career scoring list behind Damon Bailey. At 6 p.m. Wednesday night, Zolman will be named to the roster of the McDonald's Girls All-Star Game that will be played April 4. Zolman will sign autographs and pose for photos March 21 at 5:30 p.m. at Wawasee High School. Looking on are Mary Hurley, Wawasee athletic director, and Shanna's parents, Kem and Lynnette Zolman.
