Whitley Expo To Highlight County March 14

Posted
The 2015 Whitley County EXPO is slated for March 14 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Indian Springs Middle School.
The annual event, hosted by the Whitley County Chamber of Commerce, highlights businesses and non-profits in Whitley County, inviting visitors to learn more. Admission and parking are free.
The annual event welcomes more than 1,500 residents, with entertainment, an opportunity to sample local food and products and a mini version of the Whitley County Farmers Market, according to the announcement from the Whitley chamber.
“The Whitley County EXPO provides a unique opportunity to visit with more than 60 businesses and non-profits in a comfortable setting," chamber Executive Director Doug Brown said in the release. "You're never going to typically see or interact with that many businesses and organizations representing all corners of the county and surrounding areas in one day."
Brown also said the variety of businesses represented makes it great.
"We have booths representing landscaping to insurance to home improvement and retail," he said. "You can absolutely come, visit some booths, enjoy the entertainment, have lunch and do some shopping – all in one place, without leaving the building. You never know what you're going to see."
Entertainment will include performances from Dance Til U Drop Dance Studio in Columbia City and Hit the Floor Dance Studio of Churubusco.
The Whitley County Chamber of Commerce will continue to accept booth registrations for the next several weeks. For more information, contact the chamber at 260-248-8131 or by email at office@whitleychamber.com
