South WhitleY - Whitko's wrestling team won its last home meet of the season on Wednesday.
The Wildcats improved to 16-6 with their 58-12 win over Westview.
Whitko's Keith Bird (125 pounds), Andy Wright (145), Robbie Nieto (171), Jeremiah Rakoczy (215) and Mark Christian (275) pinned their opponents.
"This was the last home meet for the seniors," Whitko coach Brian Balsmeyer said, "and they all went out on wins. They have worked hard to get where they are at."
Whitko competes in the Three Rivers Conference meet Saturday at North Miami.

At Syracuse, Penn's boys swim team proved why it's ranked No. 6 by beating Wawasee on Wednesday.
Penn placed first in 11 of 12 events. Wawasee's lone first place came in the 100 breaststroke, where Adam Brown won with a time of 1:06.91.
Wawasee hosts the Northern Lakes Conference preliminaries at 5:30 p.m. next Thursday.

At Syracuse, the Warriors trailed by just three at the half in a low scoring affair but Mishawaka exploded in the second half for the win on Tuesday.
Wawasee never scored more than five points in any one quarter in the loss.

Warsaw's freshman boys basketball team outscored Fort Wayne North Side 10-0 the first quarter and 19-8 the third quarter en route to the Wednesday win.
Trent Martin led Warsaw with 17 points, while Josh Buck added 11 points and five rebounds. Jon Dock had six assists and four rebounds.
Warsaw, 10-2, hosts Mishawaka Marian on Saturday. This is a make-up game from Nov. 25.

Andy Martin led Valley with 16 points, while Brian Love added eight. Martin also had five rebounds and four steals, while Love also had 11 rebounds.

At Goshen, Wawasee's freshman boys basketball team allowed only 13 points the first half en route to the Tuesday win over Fairfield.
The Warriors sealed the win by hitting 8 of 11 free throws in the fourth quarter.
Travis Klenke led Wawasee with 14, while Brian Adkins added 13. Andrew Packer scored 11.
Wawasee, 8-3, plays Goshen at Goshen Middle School at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
