NORTH MANCHESTER — In a non-conference matchup Thursday, the Whitko High School volleyball team got a three-set win over host Manchester. Winning 25-12, 25-14, 25-19, Whitko was paced by Meghan Peters, who led the team with 14 assists and three aces. Also for the Lady Wildcats, Whitney Hobbs and Maddie Gawthrop had six and five kills, respectively. Jenny Brown posted 17 digs for Whitko and Taylor Zwick finished with three blocks. For Manchester, Sydney Snep had a solid match with nine kills and eight digs, while Marret Metzger had 11 digs. Whitko will be at Saturday’s Westview Tournament, while Manchester hosts its own tournament Saturday.
