SOUTH WHITLEY – Whitko’s duo of junior Aly Reiff and senior Jennifer Reiff proved to be too much for the Manchester Lady Squires to handle Friday night. In a Three Rivers Conference girls basketball game, Aly Reiff scored a game-high 22 points for the Class 2A No. 6 Lady Wildcats, while Jennifer Reiff finished with 20 points. Whitko led 11-5 after one quarter of play but built a bigger cushion as the game went on. The Lady Wildcats held a 23-10 advantage at halftime and led 41-19 after three quarters of play. Brianna Cumberland scored five points for the winners, while Emily Day and Hanna Yohe chipped in with four points each. Whitko is now 9-1 overall and 3-0 in the TRC standings, while Manchester fell to 4-7 and 1-2. Ellie Milam led the Lady Squires with 10 points, while Cierra Carter chipped in with seven, and Sydney Day and Drew Thompson finished with five points each. Whitko is in action again Tuesday when it hosts West Noble, while Manchester plays at Southwood Friday.
