Leah R. Winger is Whitko High School's 2005 valedictorian, and Emily R. Barnes is salutatorian.
Leah is the daughter of Matt and Debbie Winger. She plans to pursue a degree in elementary education at Huntington College. Her WHS activities include volleyball, softball, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, art club and Spanish club.
Emily will major in accounting at Indiana University. She is the daughter of James and Lea Barnes. Her activities at Whitko include band, president of Students Against Destructive Decisions, Business Professionals of America, light crew for plays, Spanish club, student council, student round table and math academic team.
