Whitko School Corp.'s board reorganized Monday, selecting new officers and deciding other special business items for the 2005-2006 school year.
Hal Trump was elected president, taking over Dave Tranter's seat. Marie Trump is vice president and Mike Braddock is secretary.
The third Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m. was again established as the board's regular meeting day and time.
The gas mileage reimbursement for approved school business travel was set at 34 cents per mile.
The board salary rate was set at $2,000 per year for regularly scheduled meetings with a $25 per day for additional meetings scheduled.
They set student tuition rates at $12 per day for children in grades one through 12.
Phil Menzie was appointed board treasurer, purchasing agent and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act privacy officer. Tony Huff was selected as deputy treasurer.
John W. Whitleather Jr. was approved as board attorney, with a retainer fee of $1,000.
Trump also will serve as the board's legislative liaison to the Indiana School Boards Association.
The board president was authorized to appoint members to any necessary committees or organizations.
Superintendent Jeff Hendrix was appointed Civil Rights Compliance Officer.

Accepted Martha Trier's resignation from driving the extended morning elementary school route. Trier remains a Whitko bus driver.
Approved a contract with Performances Services to study and recommend infrastructure changes during the upcoming high school renovation. The company, based in Indianapolis, is charged with guaranteeing consistent temperature and humidity through out the building as well as offering utility bill savings. Performance Services representative Bob Wede attended the meeting to answer any questions.
