During November, the Clean World Association at Whitko Middle School sponsored a canned food drive.
They collected more than 3,000 cans for the Pierceton Food Bank. Homerooms collecting the most cans won prizes. First-place homeroom was Ms. Lozier's (collecting 383 cans), second place went to Ms. Marietta's (collecting 355 cans), and third place was Mrs. Preston’s, Mr. Zimmerman’s, Mr. Jesse’s combined homeroom (collecting 350 cans).
