NEW HAVEN – Other than its first time up, Whitko scored in every inning against host New Haven to take a 9-1 lead. The Wildcats then surrendered five runs in the seventh before holding on for a 9-6 non-conference baseball win Friday. Landen Goff, Tanner Gaff, Drew Bradford, Hunter Sroufe, Riley Anderson and Zach Hewitt all had doubles for Whitko. Alex Robbins got the win on the mound, and Sroufe earned the save. Now winners of 10 straight games, the Wildcats (16-4) head to Muncie this morning to play a doubleheader against Monroe Central at Ball State University.
