NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Board of School Trustees of the Whitko Community School Corporation (the Owner) will receive sealed bids for Purchase or Lease of Five Modular Classroom Units at Whitko High School and One Modular Classroom at Pierceton Elementary School. These bids are to be submitted separately.
Bids will be accepted at the Whitko Community School Corporation Administration Office, 710 North State Road 5 - Suite B, Larwill, Indiana 46764 until 12:00 p.m. (local time), on March 16, 2018. Bids will be opened and tabulated at that time in room 813.
All bidding shall be in accordance with specification documents prepared by Whitko Community School Corporation which can be obtained from the administration office. Call 260.327.3677 (office of Whitko Community School Corporation) to request an invitation to receive digital access to the bidding documents.
Each successful bidder shall be required to furnish an approved Performance Bond which cover faithful performance of the contract. Said bond shall remain in full force and effective for twelve months from the substantial completion of the work.
The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder complying with the conditions for bidding, provided the bid is reasonable and it is to the best interest of the Owner to accept it. The Owner reserves the right to reject the bids of any or all bidders in accordance with Indiana Code 36-1-12.
Bids not reaching said office by 12:00 p.m., on March 16, 2018 will not be opened and will be returned unopened to the original bidder.
