Whitko Community School Corporation REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL Notice is hereby given that the Board of School Trustees, Whitko Community School Corporation, is soliciting proposals from various electrical and data wiring providers for the purpose of replacing the existing telephone and computer data wiring systems at Pierceton Elementary School/South Whitley Elementary School. This system will provide the backbone for connectivity between MDF/lDFs and classrooms and office areas. Coupled with this wiring backbone is a secondary backbone existing between MDF/lDFs and hallway location to be used for a managed wireless network (Trapeze Networks or similar system). The vendor should consider providing services to meet the requirements including all costs and delineated by 3 distinct components: 1) Basic wiring; 2) Wireless hardware and; 3) Wireless hardware/Software system which serves multiple buildings. Proposals will be accepted until 4:00 P.M. on April 15, 2011 at One Big Blue Avenue, South Whitley, Indiana 46787. All responses must include a proposal with the content and in the format described within the RFP.
