WABASH – Whitko scored four runs in the top of the seventh inning to earn a 6-2 road win over Southwood Wednesday. Riley Anderson had two hits and drove in a run, and Drew Bradford added a pair of base hits and scored a run. Tanner Gaff and Zach Hewitt each had double for the Wildcats. Gaff got the win on the mound, pitching a complete game and striking out seven. He won a pitching duel with Southwood’s Brennan Kelly, who struck out nine Wildcats before fading in the seventh inning. Whitko (7-4) will travel to Monroe to take on Adams Central on Friday.
