Ruth Ann Whetstone, Tippecanoe, announced the engagement of her daughters, Yolanda Lou Ann Whetstone, Silver Lake, to Dennis Lee Ridenour, Warsaw. He is the son of Jerry and Sharon Ridenour, Wabash. Yolanda is also the daughter of the late Dale R. Whetstone. The bride-to-be graduated from Triton Junior-Senior High School, Bourbon, in 1992. The groom-elect is a G.E.D. recipient from Heartland Leaning Center of Wabash, in 1994. The couple plan an Aug. 6, 2011, wedding.
