The Warsaw Fire Department responded to a call at 7:21 a.m. today reporting smoke at 427 W. Perry St., Warsaw. The unoccupied home of Evelyn Rake sustained $25,000 in smoke and fire damage. No injuries were reported. Firefighters were at the scene more than two hours. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Photo by Gary Nieter, Times-Union
