Warsaw firemen give emergency aid to James Hyde, 65, of 516 E. Clark St., Warsaw. Hyde was crossing Detroit Street on his motorized wheelchair when he was struck by Georgia Flora, 77, of 2401 Wester Drive, Winona Lake. According to the Warsaw Police Department, Flora was headed east on Fort Wayne Street and, as she was turning left onto Detroit Street, the glare of the sun caused her to not see Hyde. Hyde complained of leg pain and was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital.
