Warsaw Housing Authority Board of Directors Monday approved fair market rent rates for 2009-10.
The rates for the Housing Choice Voucher Program include $514 for a one-bedroom unit; $676 for a two-bedroom unit; $860 for a three-bedroom unit; and $1,001 for a four-bedroom unit.
The board also approved, on second reading, a 2009-10 proposed budget for WHA that will be submitted to Warsaw City Council for review. WHA is requesting $30,000 from Warsaw toward its budget.
The board also approved allowing Pam Kennedy, HOW executive director, to have the authority to give performance bonuses up to $500 per bonus for WHA employees.
The board tabled approving a conflict of interest statement for board members to allow them more time to review the statement that was written by board member David Kolbe.
Board members are Bob Kline, Karen Moeller, Donna Thrasher, Tammy Keirn, Gary Parker, Kolbe and Page Himes.
The board will meet again Sept. 28 at 5:15 p.m. at Miner & Lemon Law Offices.
