Warsaw Housing Authority Monday elected officers for 2008.
Officers include President Bob Kline; Vice President Karen Moeller; Secretary Page Himes and Treasurer Tammy Keirn.
The organization also welcomed new members David Kolbe and Gary Parker.Pam Kennedy, HOW executive director, informed the organization she attended the Jan. 22 city council meeting to request funding for Housing Opportunities of Warsaw.
She requested the city provide $25,000 for HOW. The funding request is to cover the not-for-profit organization's employee salary, rent, accounting fees, audit fees, Internet, telephone and interest fees.
HOW has secured to date $47,124 in funding for 2008. The cost estimate to fund these items in 2008 is $77,664. She said she will attend the council's Feb. 4 meeting.
WHA will meet again Feb. 25 at 5:15 p.m. at the housing office.
