TOPEKA – Wawasee junior Tyler Smith hit 7 of 11 free throws and had a team-high 17 points in his team’s 58-50 loss at Westview Tuesday night. The teams combined for 57 fouls, 31 by Wawasee, and four Westview players fouled out. Westview’s Elijah Hales hit 13 free throws on his way to a game-high 21 points. Westview outscored Wawasee 29-19 at the free throw line, and did not make a three-pointer in the game. Trevon Coleman added 11 for Wawasee (2-17), who venture to Kendallville to take on East Noble Saturday night.
