Welcome To Our New Website

Welcome To Our New WebsiteWelcome to the new Times-Union website.
As you grow accustomed to its functionality, we think you will find it is easier to navigate and that there is much more content.
Notice at the top of the site are quick links to our subscription page, E-Edition, Facebook page and weather webcam.
Beneath the Times-Union banner you will find dropdown menus for Local News, Local Sports, Obituaries, Opinion, Lifestyles, Forms and Classifieds.
Hovering your mouse over each of those headings will reveal a dropdown menu of items found under each of those headings.
Each day there will be a top story on the page appearing above the rotating photo box. You can read the story in its entirety by clicking on its headline.
The stories in the rotating photo box (like this one) can be paused by clicking the "pause rotation" link in the lower left of the box. Or you can click the "continue this story" link in the lower rig ht of the box to read the whole story.
Complete versions of the stories in the "top stories" section can be accessed by clicking on their headlines.
Click the play button on local videos or Associated Press videos to view our video offerings.
Below the videos are our photo galleries. Look for more of them to pop up as time passes.
All stories on the site now are published with comment boxes. Check out what readers are saying about our stories in the "recently commented" section below the photo galleries.
Finally, check out what's doing well at the box office and see lots more current content under the "Extras" link in the bottom section of the website. Also in that section is the "Life" link which boasts a robust amount of web-only content, including automotive, fashion, how-to, senior living, family living, finance, lawn & garden, tech talk and lots more.
We hope you enjoy the look and content of our new website. As with any new electronic offering, there will be glitches here and there, but we hope to have those ironed out relatively quickly. Thank you in advance for your patience.
As always, please feel free to call 574.267.1311 or email editor@timesuniononline.com with your questions, comments or criticisms.
