Amanda Michelle Weigandt and Leighton Andrew Wells, both of Chicago, recently announced their engagement. She is the daughter of Richard and Juliana Weigandt, Minster, and he is the son of Jeff and Cindi Wells, Syracuse.
The bride-to-be is a 1998 graduate of Minster High School and a 2002 graduate of Miami University of Ohio. She is a pharmaceutical sales representative for Roche Laboratories.
The groom-elect is a 1999 graduate of Wawasee High School and a 2003 graduate of Purdue University. He is a surgical implant sales representative for DePuy Spine.
The couple plan a Sept. 15 wedding at St. Martin de Porres Church, Syracuse, with dinner and dancing following at Tippecanoe Country Club, Leesburg.
