The driver of this car suffered minor injuries after losing control of her vehicle and striking a pole about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday on CR 600W, south of Ind. 25, near Burket. Jody Ellen Thompson, 19, of Warsaw was treated at Kosciusko Community Hospital for facial bleeding and later released. Police said alcohol and excessive speed may have been factors in the accident. Police reports indicated Thompson had a blood alcohol level of .06. The matter remains under investigation by the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Office. Photo by Gary Nieter, Times-Union
