NORTH WEBSTER – Town Council approved a $37,000 bid Tuesday for construction of a lift station. The bid was submitted by Gasvoda and Associates Inc., which has constructed lift stations for the town before. Utilities Manager Mike Noe told council the latest bid is comparable to the cost of the last lift station they built. Installation will cost an additional $7,291. The town also accepted a bid of $800 from Hoosier Tree Service for removal of two trees on the site. The lift station will be built on Stanley Street near East Governor’s Lane.
