NORTH WEBSTER - Two would-be robbers fled empty-handed early Sunday after allegedly displaying a gun inside a North Webster business.
According to North Webster Town Marshal Greg Church, two black males entered the Webster Quick Service on Ind. 13 shortly before 1 a.m. One of the men allegedly pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the clerk, who was behind the front counter.
The clerk then ran into a nearby office, slammed and locked the office door and called 911.
Nothing was taken from the business and the suspects were gone when police arrived.
