INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Dester Bell was a little spellbound after winning $178,000 on the "Hoosier Millionaire" television show.
"Is this real?" the North Webster man asked during the show broadcast Saturday night.
Bell, a father of three and grandfather of four, piled up $14,000 in the first three rounds before going into overtime in the bonus round against Grace Outlaw of Evansville.
Bell won his way into the millionaire round by finishing with $28,000. Outlaw ended with $19,000.
Bell passed up the guaranteed $100,000 to try for a million. When his first pick revealed $150,000, he decided against risking it for a second pick.
